Sales assistants (m/f/d)

Tasks

As a member of our internal sales team you are often the first contact for our customers. Inquiries about products & services are recorded and answered and forwarded to the respective account manager.

You will take over the following tasks confidently and responsibly:

    • Addressing customers in case of upcoming license renewals
    • Documentation of sales processes
    • Preparation and checking of offers
    • Coordination and planning of field service appointments
    • Forwarding and assignment of calls and e-mails to the sales staff as the first point of contact
    • Maintenance and further development of information material for customer communication such as flyers, price lists, article descriptions and text modules
    • Monitoring of ongoing test positions

    You will work closely with our sales representatives and take over the planning of field service appointments, including travel routes and hotel bookings. As the first point of contact for our customers, you will ensure comprehensive support. In doing so, you will always maintain an overview and prioritise requests according to importance and urgency. In addition to answering calls, you will also actively support the internal sales force in the acquisition process.

    You are self-confident, able to speak, but you can listen even better and let every customer feel your fun in sales work. You work in a structured and careful manner, are disciplined, resilient and capable of learning. You think holistically, economically and sustainably.

    What else you bring to the table:

    • Completed commercial training and professional experience in sales assistance or in the field of activity described, preferably in the areas of business administration, marketing, business assistance
    • Secure handling of MS Office, especially MS Excel
    • IT knowledge of products in the field of servers, routers, networks, etc. and software
    • Knowledge in handling CRM and merchandise management systems
    • Knowledge of the market segment public authorities desirable
    • Linguistically very good and error-free expression in word and writing
    • Safe and friendly contact with customers on the phone
    • Analytical thinking, structured working methods and organisational talent
    • Ability to work in a team and cooperate as well as initiative and a sense of responsibility
